Emergency loans give active members quick access to funds for urgent, unplanned needs — medical expenses, bereavement, and similar emergencies — without the longer turnaround of a development loan.
Who can guarantee your loan
- Two active SACCO members are required
- Guarantors must have a good savings record
- Guarantors must have the capacity to cover the guaranteed amount
The loan application process
Submit your application
Complete and submit the loan application form.
Attach supporting documents
Include guarantor forms and evidence of the emergency where applicable.
Credit appraisal
The SACCO reviews your savings history and repayment capacity.
Committee approval
The loan committee reviews and approves qualifying applications.
Loan agreement
You and your guarantors sign the loan agreement.
Disbursement
Approved funds are released to your account.
